Norway

Where BioEquify starts. NIBIO's SR16 forest resource map is built from national airborne laser scanning, covers the productive forest and is open under NLOD 2.0.

Figures marked Pending were researched from public sources and are awaiting founder verification. Hover any number for its source and dates.

Ownership landscape

Family-owned forest dominates. Most owners sell timber and get management advice through forest-owner cooperatives organised under Norges Skogeierforbund.

Where BioEquify fits

Cooperative portfolio reports on real SR16 data: stock, uncertainty and change readiness for every member, under the cooperative's brand.

What to watch

SR16 is noisy per stand, so we only report portfolios. Norway has not yet incorporated the EU CRCF into the EEA Agreement, so Phase one is a data service.
